Welcome home

Welcome back.

I could write another entry about how much I enjoyed myself in Port, but it's clear that there are some people here who didn't, and I'm sorry I wasn't a little more alert.

I'll call it an overall success when we don't have people being killed or tormented. If we go by that standard then the only one we can call 'successful' so far was the stop in Disneyland.

Having said that, I'd like to personally commend Henry West for going out of his way to bring Rose Tyler safely back to the Barge.

If you'd like to have a sit so I can go over some of the things we discussed with you, I would like your input.

(ooc: The latter part is hypothetical as I'm checking today to see what conclusions should have been reached with the meetings.)

I have to say that now that everything's over? I'm happy to have given myself time to calm down before making any real decisions or posting my thoughts. The fight is over. My Inmate is safe. I will endure.

So Wardens: Why don't we put that meeting room to use soon and do what the Admiral has asked us to do?

My knee will get better. Thanks to the equipment here on the Barge, what would have lost me my leg back home is just going to add up to a month or two with a cane, here. It's not so bad. Climbing's a pain and it'll be another week or two before I can go swimming, but I'll be fine.

Charlie has a new Warden finally. He has for the last couple weeks, actually. Things weren't going too well for her at first. I thought it was a bad idea for the Admiral to put him with a woman. You know how he is. Some violence broke out.

There was a riot recently. You wouldn't have been proud to see what he'd done.

But this girl? She's really stuck by him; she's got guts. I think he's in good hands, so I don't want you to worry.

And I don't behave as though he's adorable; he's obnoxious and I accept that because it's not my job to try to change it.

So, did anyone else here know that the CES changes? The last time I went in was when I took West my Inmate, and it looked kinda like a lagoon then. Now it's a forest. King Charles loved it, but it was a little cold for him. Still -- interesting to walk about in. And there are animals sometimes. Not a bunch of them, and I could hear birds before, but never saw them.

It's nice to go someplace that doesn't necessarily feel like here sometimes, though.

Anyway, since we're still down a few people, is there anyplace I can lend an extra hand?

Major Henry West, imagine my surprise at not finding you in your quarters. We have much to discuss, you and I. In light of recent events I am likely to become your Warden or in the least your fellow Inmate, so on that note, we have much to talk about.

I meant what I told you when I said that Morgan is not coming back, and you can't hide forever.

Admiral, what have you done?

You have to fix this. I know it's a flood, but you have to reverse it; you must have some way!

You can't use us to put the Inmates in danger like this!
