Henry, let's do something soon. Just the two of us.

I think I'm with everybody else when I say I'd like some shore leave soon. Maybe someplace with some music, good food and dancing. Not that the food here isn't great, but sometimes something a little exotic is fun, and I think we're all due for a little from the Admiral. Venice might have been crazy as sin, but at least we got a good party out of it.

I'd kind of like to go riding, too. I like horses, but I don't get to interact with them too often.

Finally what the Hell are Uno cards, and what happened to my normal deck?

You just reminded me how long it's been since I've even seen a horse. I think that'd be a very nice touch for a port. A break would do, though, I can concur there.

I shall have to try and spot one. Attempting to ride or even touch a wild horse would be quite obviously be ill advised, but it'd be nice to go and watch one.

They most probably are, otherwise when it changes, they'd still be there, one would presume.

I have killed a few animals up there, they're real enough to die. Apart from that, the most significant interaction I had was a sheep staring at me, so I'm not sure what to make of that.

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2009-11-08 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
Normally, when I was in the countryside, or had reason to be, the sheep stayed a long way away, and with good reason, so I couldn't comment.

Be careful, asking for a port causes demons to enter the Barge, remember?

[MOVING AWAY FROM CATTY SARCASM NOW]

But that sounds fine; what did you have in mind? And why on Earth do you have a pack of Uno cards? Did you get robbed by a child?

[identity profile] major-west.livejournal.com 2009-11-08 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
I quite agree.

Yes, they're a card game where your goal is to end up with zero cards. There are these special cards, with instructions, designed to help you and hurt your opponents, by either skipping their turn, reversing the order, or making them draw cards.

[identity profile] major-west.livejournal.com 2009-11-08 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
It is. So why do you have it?

[identity profile] major-west.livejournal.com 2009-11-08 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you can borrow my deck, if you'd like.

Uno is a game too vastly awesome for someone like you to enjoy.

I have no evidence to hold my case but I believe it.

now presenting JD snark.

...I'm not your type.

Psh. I'd mop the floor with you. Your hair seems fitting for that anyway.
