I think I'm with everybody else when I say I'd like some shore leave soon. Maybe someplace with some music, good food and dancing. Not that the food here isn't great, but sometimes something a little exotic is fun, and I think we're all due for a little from the Admiral. Venice might have been crazy as sin, but at least we got a good party out of it.

I'd kind of like to go riding, too. I like horses, but I don't get to interact with them too often.

Finally what the Hell are Uno cards, and what happened to my normal deck?

Let it run off you like water, kid. Food's his thing. I remember this one time, one of the newer Wardens decided to go experimenting in the kitchen. And he delivered a treatise that writes out as long as my arm about how not only was the dish bad, but that it downright offended the dish that it was trying so hard to be.

Of course he never does it meaning something personal against the chef. Cooking's an art form; sometimes he thinks that the people cooking will improve if they stand up to criticism.

Believe me, he's the sort that if you've got something you actually like to do in the kitchen, he will give you a shot. If you want to learn there, he's so patient.

See me? I'm a disaster in the kitchen. I started a fire with an easy-bake-oven. And that's apparently impossible to do. But if I ask him to show me how to do something, or if I try to do something, he's always the first person there with advice and the first person to volunteer to try it.

I'm not really gonna go out of my way to please him though. He can deal with my dry eggs for a while longer.

It's not about going out of your way to please him. If he's called you on something and punished you for it, that's it. It happened. You move on. It's not going to make you any happier moping about, is it? So why waste time being angry when you could be enjoying yourself?
