For the people working the breakfast shift, I apologize for the mess. I wasn't myself during that flood for a lot longer than I wanted, but I just cleaned up the last of it. If there's anything missing or broken that I didn't get to, let me know and I'll take care of it, okay?

I know I'm the last person you want to see or hear from, but it's not like I wanted him here, Henry.

And it means a lot to me that you believed I'd come back.

Of course I did. It was only logical, seeing as the same flood happened to us Inmates first.

And I'd expect you to do the same thing in those situations.

He wasn't lying about the Admiral offering him a place here. The only way he could have stayed is if you asked for someone else, though.

That's rubbish. So what else wasn't he lying about?

[She only goes up to the common room after stopping in the infirmary to get an ice pack. He didn't heal overnight and she knows he could probably use one or seven. Upon seeing him she decides to hand it to him rather than toss it at him.]

For your -- [she trails off awkwardly] -- whatever needs it most, I guess.

[He accepts, only to set it on the table dismissively]

[She pretends not to notice, and for a minute she's pacing. She hasn't done that in front of him since that time he punched her outside of Crane's cabin.]

He said so many things I don't know where to begin.

You don't have to explain yourself to me.

The Hell I don't. You might not have believed him when he said I wasn't coming back but you didn't reject much else, and you had no reason to. He knew everything I knew; he knew which buttons to push.

I don't know how much of it was really him.

He mentioned a lot about you not wanting to deal with me, except to pass judgement.

[She stops short to look at him.] Judgment about what? I'm not here to judge you, Henry, I'm here to do what I can to help you.

About what I d-- allowed to happen, considering-- Do I honestly have to explain it to you? You must remember everything from your time as him; I certainly did with Hannah.

[Morgan takes a step toward him, pointing.] I have told you more than once that I do not hold that incident against you. And the fact that you'd take the word of a man over mine, a man that took one look at you the minute you met him then pummeled you stupid, is fucking insulting!

It's not as though I know when, exactly, you left the building!

And what was running through your head that gave him the impression that I have... [He waves a hand, trying to think of the word] dalliances with the male wardens?

[She holds a hand to her head, back to pacing again] He was ribbing at you about Jim. It's one of the reasons why I wanted him far away from you. He's had some of his own men keelhauled for even being accused of -- [she trails off -- not even sure how she should put that, since it certainly wasn't 'sleeping with' them that was a problem. She gestures vaguely] -- with other men, even if they weren't willing.

Ah. Well, I'm quite fortunate he didn't try that out.
