Technically, you are talking to me, so I have a right to defend myself. Every warden has made mistakes before. You cannot rehabilitate someone just with empty promises. You have to actually take a leap of faith every now and then and hope it pays off. And we have yet to see whether this leap of faith has paid off or not.

Besides, wasn't your inmate the one who started up the riot a while ago? With that in mind, I don't think you can talk about being responsible.

I didn't hand my Inmate weapons and tell him to use them, and I NEVER failed to stand up and admit when I made a mistake by him. That incident ended in not even a FRACTION of the death and injury your older self caused! So don't you DARE tell me how much room I've got to talk.

This incident just ended. My future self is recovering from being possessed and Coyolxauhqai is recovering from the death toll. I think he has some priorities over apologizing to the Barge for what happened, just to make everyone feel better. What happened, happened and there's nothing you can do about it. Let him do his job, and stop questioning it. And as for the former? He didn't tell her to go call her family, that was a conscious decision that Coyolxauhqai made on her own.

Though, I have to wonder: do you want an apology from him, or are you just out for blood? Because I guarantee hurting my older self or Coyolxauhqai won't do you any good in the long run.

Who said anything about blood? I've said my piece. Whether he sees it now or later, I don't care. It should be said.

I'm not going to hold anyone's hand and tell them nothing is wrong when there is wrong and they have no one to blame but themselves.

Right, because yelling is going to make this run so much smoother. Because telling someone that they're dead to you is going to help you out so much. Yes, that incident was wrong and could have been avoided. But he had reasons for giving Coyolxauhqai her power and I'd like you to at least acknowledge those reasons, whatever they may be. Some times there are little hurdles on the way to graduation. The last thing Swing ever did before graduating was kill a man, and yet that provided what he needed to graduate. For all we know, this may just be a hurdle for Coyolxauhqai.

Besides, can you honestly say that this is the worst thing that you've been through since you came on the Barge? You're just in a state of shock-it's a normal annoying human reaction.

You're the last person I expected to hear making excuses for murder. I guess it really is different when you're the one in the crosshairs.

I was the warden of the Borg Queen during her takeover of the Barge. I'm not making excuses, I just know what it's like to be scrutinized for something you could not prevent.
