Y'know, I never said it, but I enjoyed the night out a while back. The one we had before the flood hit -- you all know who you are. I wouldn't mind doing it again -- probably with a little less drinking on my part. There's something about doing that right at the end of the month, before supplies replenish, when you've got to scrimp for a few drops of liquor that makes the whole thing just a little too desperate for my tastes. Puts a weird edge on the whole thing, and the point was to take the edge off. That aside, I think I met a few newer people and probably had the longest conversations I've ever had with some of you.

I also learned that inclement weather apparently happens in the CES on occasion. You go for a hike and there's a sudden downpour. That was pleasant.

I'm now considering it my duty to go find out. And get, probably, very wet in the process. Is it bad I'm almost hoping for it?
