Y'know, I never said it, but I enjoyed the night out a while back. The one we had before the flood hit -- you all know who you are. I wouldn't mind doing it again -- probably with a little less drinking on my part. There's something about doing that right at the end of the month, before supplies replenish, when you've got to scrimp for a few drops of liquor that makes the whole thing just a little too desperate for my tastes. Puts a weird edge on the whole thing, and the point was to take the edge off. That aside, I think I met a few newer people and probably had the longest conversations I've ever had with some of you.

I also learned that inclement weather apparently happens in the CES on occasion. You go for a hike and there's a sudden downpour. That was pleasant.

Oh, not at all! It changes it a lot. The last time I took my Inmate, it was a beach. Sometimes it's the woods and it's sunny. The first time I went in, it was a lagoon.

Oh, good! I had images of rainy Scottish islands for eternity. Which I actually quite like, but that's not the point. I think I'll have to go on a hike myself, then.
