I enjoy my time with you but I'm not letting my business get mixed up in that. This means that West and parties associated with him are off limits to you, and this is the one area in which I am not willing to compromise. So you smooth things over, or this becomes a problem.

He would have known that after anyone else that complained had posted, and he would have found it out without me being dragged in the middle of it.

I did not need another reason to fight with my Inmate, so now if I do nothing, I am apparently not doing my job. Have you ever had to make decisions like this? If so, did you like any of the choices you had to settle on?

No, I'm not going to tell you how to behave. But if I have to I'll speak to your Warden, and he can tell you.

You don't want to be the bigger man among the three of you, fine, but this can never happen again. God love you, Ralphie, but I have to protect my Inmate first, and sometimes that means keeping things between him and myself at a level where he'll still cooperate with me.

Another incident like that and I won't be addressing it with you in private again.
