You know, that flood that came by a month ago might have opened a few cans of worms I would have liked to avoid and would love even more to just forget about -- but I can see why people that are like that stick with it.

Might have felt horrible after the fact, but not caring about anything was nice while it lasted.

This man's promising him a return to his ways. That's why Prefect wants to eat up anything he says.

He wants to set Prefect up for devastation to make him suddenly 'realise' that this man is the only person who's ever cared for him. I wish I were joking.

I'm pretty sure it's because half of the wardens don't even put forth any effort. They just react to problems, rather than foster any...

I dunno. This place is cracked.
