I wasn't expecting women to show up so soon. If I hadn't delivered on that promise, they would have fragged me, taken the women anyway, and then the entire lot of them would've been dead in three days.

I'm hardly a stranger to mutinies, either, but making a lot of bad decisions with no real end product is a good way to get people to stop trusting you, yeah.

So you kept your men cooped up in a house instead of looking for a way to get off the island.

Was "starting over" really the goal that you had in mind? You'd get yourself a few women, let the men have at them and then what? Keep them safe and healthy on dwindling supplies for nine months? Then have still more mouths to feed, more bodies to protect from infection?

Or were you just more interested in making sure your men had other targets to take their frustrations out on, methods that didn't involve using your bony, incapable ass?

Don't be stupid. I wouldn't have let them impregnate any woman until after the Infected were dead, and that wouldn't have taken too long. They're only human, after all. They would have starved to death eventually.
