Where's Papa?
This is Papa's room.
(ooc: As with all floods, those that are affected have a choice as to how much they are affected. In Morgan's case she doesn't even really think all that much about being a Warden. It's probably down there somewhere, but she hasn't gotten to it yet.)

Alright. I'm going to come and wait for him with you. How does that sound?

ACTION!
Morgan? It's Kathryn. Can you open the door?
ACTION!
Hi.
[She's standing in a shirt that's clearly too big for her.]
Re: ACTION!
Hello, there. Do you mind if I come in?
ACTION!
But only until Papa comes back.
ACTION!
[She enters the room, looking around with a hint of concern.]
So how old are you, Morgan?
ACTION!
Oh.
[Morgan counts on her fingers and holds up one open palm.]
This many!
ACTION!
That's a good age. I liked five.
[She briefly touches one of the pieces of jewelry. Gold? Must be. Not a very valuable commodity in her own time, used only to plate latinum.]
ACTION!
ACTION!
[Janeway turns back to Morgan, the jewelry forgotten.]
Well, now. What do you usually do when your father leaves you? Does someone watch out for you?
ACTION!
Papa says I'm too little to be all by myself. That's why Mister Glasspoole is always with me.
[Of course she immediately senses the incongruity in this statement, and she looks around.]
But -- I can't find Mister Glasspoole, either.
ACTION!
Morgan, Mister Glasspoole isn't here, I'm afraid.
[She wonders how long this whole process will take; if only an hour or so, Morgan might return to her adult form and nothing need be said. If it lasts days, Morgan would need to be told the truth.]
[Best not to drag it out. She crouches down near the girl.]
I have something to tell you, but I need you to be very brave. Can you do that?
ACTION!
[She blinks at Janeway when she kneels to her level.]
I'm brave.
ACTION!
[She pauses.] You're aboard a ship called the Barge, and it's...magical. That's how the room looks like his. It's magic.
ACTION!
You're funny.
[She clearly doesn't remember opening the door and seeing the hallway outside instead of the deck. But then she was distracted by making a new friend and proving she could open the door.]
ACTION!
Morgan, things will go back to normal soon, and you'll...go back to what you're used to. For now, though, this isn't a joke.
Now, there's no reason to worry.
ACTION!
[She looks around as though she's checking to make sure everything is still there.]
This is Papa's cabin.
[To prove it she grabs one of her hands and pulls.]
Come on, I'll show you.
ACTION!
ACTION!
And out there [She points toward the door] is where the rest of the crew lives.
ACTION!
[She decides to let it lay for the time being.]
What do you do, when your father is...working?
ACTION!
ACTION!
ACTION!
I'm learning to read those.
[Right now she's at the point where her father just reads and she and Glasspoole listen and eventually fall asleep.]
ACTION!
[Without waiting, Kathryn takes down the two books, very gently, and turns them over in her hands.]
[In her own time, these books would be valued antiques. It takes her breath away to hold them now. After a moment, she replaces them carefully.]
Do you like living here?
