Aleera was not wearing any of the armour or carrying the firearms, which so many others were. She thought them rather pointless. Not that she had exactly been responsible. The moment she had gained freedom, the vampiress had literally taken flight with a somewhat manic laugh of liberation, relishing the sensation of finally having both a much more expansive playground and one which was dark and oppressive enough to remind her of home. Needless to say, she was fascinated by such a tragic place and, soon enough, came to land for the eventual search.
